Dr. La Marta has over 25 years’ experience in the food ingredient industry leading teams responsible for product development, operations support, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and corporate standards development. Jim has authored Food Additive Petitions, Human and Animal food ingredient GRAS dossiers, PreManufacture and Microbial Activity Notices as well as New Ingredient registrations with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Currently Jim is a senior manager of regulatory affairs in the North American life sciences division of DSM.
